We’ve all seen people who are just naturally lucky.

They’re the ones who manage to sail through life with more unexplainable “lucky breaks” and fewer disappointments than
most people get. Success just seems to come easier for them.

Where most folks have to struggle just to get ahead, lucky people regularly have opportunities just plop down in their
laps. Of course, they work hard, but that doesn’t fully explain the special treatment that life seems to reserve for them.

It almost appears that they were born with the proverbial silver spoon in their mouths. Or born under a luckier star than most mere mortals.

Well, cheer up; neither stars nor spoons are at work here. All they have is seven simple secrets.

These secrets are easy little things that you can begin applying in your own life. And when you do, things will start to change for you.

Your career will begin to blossom n unexpected ways. And one day you’ll realize that now everyone has started calling you naturally lucky, too.

Ready to command more luck in your life? Here are the 7 simple secrets of naturally lucky people…..

Secret #1: Lucky People Don’t Believe In Luck

I recently interviewed 10 unusually successful business people for a book I was writing about the role luck plays in the lives of successes.

Nearly every one of them stated plainly they don’t believe in luck.

In the next breath, however, they told about unending streams of “serendipitous” or “synchronistic” events that routinely happen in their daily lives.

I believe they don’t like the word “luck” because it implies there’s no way to control it. They’ve learned that there is.

If you prefer to call it serendipity or synchronicity rather than lucky, that’s okay. The message here is not which term to use. It’s about what you can do to get these kinds of things happening for you.

When they do happen, you can call them anything you want.

I’ve chosen to use the word “luck” because when I say it, people have a fair idea of what I mean. I try to avoid radical new terms when we’ve already got a perfectly good word.

If someone walked up to you and said, “I help people learn to cause pleasant improbabilities to occur more frequently,”
you’d probably look around for the exit.

On the other hand, when I use the word “luck,” you and I are in the same ball park, concept-wise.

It’s okay if our definitions differ slightly. This happens to us all the time anyway. Ever seen a husband and a wife agree on what “shopping” means? Or “one hour”?

Most of the time, even though there are differences, we’re close enough for useful communication.

And that’s what we’re doing here. As you read, you’ll gradually find that my definition of luck includes a steering wheel and an accelerator pedal.

Secret #2: “Bad” Stuff Happens To Them Too

There are several ways to have good luck. The most common (and the most useful) is to find opportunities in problems.

A friend of mine says: “There’s always a miracle in a mess.” Let’s say you and I are neighbors, and our whole city has a common problem.

Maybe it’s infestation with insects. Or it could be a serious pollution problem from a nearby plant.

While almost everyone is griping and complaining about the problem, you might decide: “Hey, if I can solve this problem, it will help my neighbors, and it can also make a profit for me.”

Your neighbors only saw the problem, but you looked deeper and found an opportunity.

All great fortunes have been built upon solving great problems. From the huge railroad empires of the 19th century, to the communications networks of the 20th, and now the software giants of the 21st, they have all solved problems for people.

Was Andrew Carnegie “lucky” that he foresaw a huge need for steel in the 1800s? Some say he was.

But I say he simply knew how to recognize a widespread need and turn it into a giant opportunity.

The same is true of Bill Gates. Many people criticize Gates for his business practices, but whatever else you believe (either way) about the man, you have to admit, he saw an opportunity before most others did, and he acted.

That’s probably the most common and the most controllable way to generate your own luck.

Secret #3: More People Quit Than Lose

If you knew ahead of time without a doubt that your success was guaranteed, how much would you go out and do?

Would it make any difference in the kind of things you would attempt? How much higher would you direct your aim?

Well, a funny thing happened to me a few years back. I was sitting and feeling sorry for myself one day because of all
the failures that I had been through.

Then it suddenly occurred to me that one particular case hadn’t been a real failure. I admitted to myself (reluctantly) that I had simply quit too soon. I had quit before I’d really had a chance to fail.

Then I thought of another non-failure. Then another.

And before long, I was buried under an avalanche of similar cases. In fact, I couldn’t think of a single time when I had actually kept on trying long enough to fail.

In other words, I had never experienced failure in my entire lifetime.

Only quitting. A realization like that will realign your reality.

After that, it’s hard to consider yourself a failure because you’ve never failed. Who knows what you might really be, down inside?

I began to wonder: what would have happened if I had stuck with even a few of those situations just a little longer? What if I hadn’t been quite so ready to quit?

More to the point, what about today and tomorrow? What if I stopped being so ready to throw in the towel and surrender too soon? Would I start seeing the number of clear successes in my life begin to grow?

The more I played with that idea, the better it sounded.

I’d like to report to you that my life instantly and dramatically changed that day, but it didn’t.

Oh, it did BEGIN changing, but it wasn’t the dramatic turnabout that you read of in books or see in movies.

Instead, each time I’d find myself in a discouraging situation, I’d start thinking of all those times I had just simply quit trying too soon.

And gradually, over time, I began developing a new mental toughness that didn’t take temporary setbacks quite so seriously.

I started finding a new resourcefulness within myself. My “keeping-on” average began to go up, and my “failure” average started declining.

I count that one realization among the most important in my life. Not because it solved a problem, but because it identified one.

Once I could see that the problem wasn’t even what I thought it was, I was then able to work on doing something else
instead.

And you know what? My luck began improving.

Secret #4: Betting On Losing Hands Makes Losers

Successful poker players don’t play every hand they’re dealt.

If you keep count, the hands they fold far outnumber the hands they hold.

That’s because a good card player knows the odds for every possible card combination. They know whether a flush beats a full house and which is more likely to occur.

And they only bet their money on likelihoods. They love to play with amateurs because amateurs play for “the juice,” the emotional charge they get from throwing money out on the table, whether they win or lose.

Good players don’t bet on risk, they bet on probability.

Lucky people are very similar. They know longshots when they see them, and they may bet, but it’s a calculated bet.

Lucky people are some of the most tenacious people on earth when it’s appropriate.

But they’re also some of the quickest quitters when the odds don’t favor them.

In fact, they’ll usually opt out of most situations before they even begin because they have learned to recognize and rank opportunities.

What makes a good opportunity?

First, does it solve a WIDESPREAD problem?

Second, do the people with the problem have enough money to pay for solving that problem?

Third, is it easy to reach the people with the problem?

Fourth, is the solution a really good one?

If they don’t find all four factors, a lucky person will walk away because they know it’s a losing hand, no matter how much they personally love the idea.

So if a lucky person sees he’s holding a losing hand, he quits quickly and cuts his losses.

Secret #5: Most Good Luck Comes Through Other People

Good luck almost never happens in a vacuum.

Several years back I read a book by Max Gunther titled “The Luck Factor.”

Most of the details in that book have dimmed, but I’ve never forgotten the core idea: Most lucky breaks are brought to
you by other people.

Few people find significant amounts of money on the street or buried in the backyard. Perhaps even fewer win lotteries.

Instead, luck comes more often in the form of opportunities. You’re with a group of ladies (or guys) who are sitting around complaining about how it’s hard to find respectable men (women) to date.

Everybody is really getting into the problem.

The person next to you leans over and whispers, “Don’t you wish everyone would just quit whining?”

But instead of complaining about all those complaints, a little lightbulb clicks on in your head. You realize a good computerized screening service for romantic introductions would fill a real need here.

You don’t say anything, but weeks later, when you announce the new service, and you’re flooded with calls from singles all over the city wanting safer introductions.

All your friends whisper, “She’s so lucky. Where did she get that great idea?”

You know where the idea came from, but you’re not telling.

A great deal of “good luck” is manually created out of discomfort often someone else’s.

Secret #6: Good Luck Favors Those Who Have Prepared

Let’s say you’re appearing in an amateur play in a little theater in your neighborhood.

A big-name producer from Hollywood is visiting a sick relative, hears about the play, and for a bit of distraction decides to attend.

She sees a spark of something special in your performance, asks to meet you, and offers you a screen test.

Okay, freeze the frame for a second…..

Are you prepared for this big break?

Have you done all the study and the practice and the foundation work it takes to be a professional?

Will you have the technique and the skills necessary to do the job?

Or are you going to try and fake your way through it?

If you’re prepared, you’re likely to do well. This means a giant step toward your dreams. And if you’re not prepared… well, good luck with your day job.

Secret #7: You Can Attract Good Things, Too

All this talk about finding opportunities in “bad” events and developing your skills is important, but there’s a more sunny side to luck as well.

Internet entrepreneur Joe Vitale terms it his “Magic Escalator through Life,” and award-winning author John Harricharan has titled it “The Power Pause.”

I interviewed both of these men, as well as eight other fascinating people, about how they manage to stay so consistently successful.

Every single one of them has techniques for keeping their mind tuned to the things they want. And they attend to this “mind tuning” every day.

They’re not casual about this. Oh no, they put regular effort into it. Their successes and their luck are not accidents.

If you’re tempted to greet this with a dismissive, “Oh yeah, I’ve read those positive thinking books,” then you need to think again.

Yanik Silver, a highly successful entrepreneur on the internet tells how he starts every single morning with a 15-minute session in which he goes over his “values and goals.”

Every morning – no exceptions.

Stacey Hall and Jan Brogniez go even further. They teach their clients to attract what they’ve labeled “Your Perfect Customers.”

In every case, they start with their thinking. What they put into their mind has a direct one-to-one relationship to what
appears in their life.

The hardest part of Secret #7?

Taking responsibility for the bad stuff in your life.

If you’ve got uncomfortable situations right now, you’ll never have the power to change them until you accept the fact that you created that mess… exactly as it is right now.

Admit to yourself that you created your own problems, down to the last tiny detail, and only then will you take command of the power to change those problems.

Fortunately, it’s not as impossible as it sounds at first.

Your mind is like a bucket. If the bucket is filled with muddy water, all you have to do is start a steady flow of clear, fresh water into the bucket.

Soon, the bucket (or your mind) is filled with clear, fresh contents.

Steady daily input of clear, fresh thoughts will change the things that appear in your life, without the need for major renovation. It just happens. You work on the inside, and the outside takes care of itself.

This means you don’t fight the old thoughts. You give them minimum energy. You don’t resist, you don’t struggle.

Instead, you put your attention as much as possible on the good things you want to appear in your life.

The lucky things you spend your time thinking about just start happening for you, and one day you wake up and realize, “Hey, I’m a pretty lucky person now. When did that happen?”

Does this mean you won’t ever have to make any hard decisions, or deal with any stressful people?

No, but you’ll find yourself handling difficult decisions and fussy people more easily because you’ll have a clearer vision of what lies on the other side, after you’ve gotten past them.

They just won’t loom so large in your path any more.

So these are the 7 secrets that naturally lucky people use to keep their life moving forward:

They don’t believe in (or wait around for) random luck.

They take charge of generating their own luck.

They look for the opportunity that’s always embedded in life’s inconveniences.

They don’t quit when they’re holding a potentially winning hand.

They drop a losing hand as quickly as possible. And they know the difference.

They polish their people skills constantly because most opportunities are brought to us by others.

They develop a wide range of professional skills so they’re prepared for any opportunity to knock.

They fill their mind with thoughts of what they want, because they know they get what they fill their mind with,
WHATEVER that is.

Other than these 7 simple things, however, naturally lucky people don’t do anything special at all.

This article was written by, Charles Burke, the author of “Command More Luck,” a book offering powerful suggestions for getting more cooperation from life, luck, and your own mind.

Whether you call it synchronicity, serendipity, or just plain old luck, you CAN become more “naturally lucky.”

It all depends……. Working to be rich does! Or does it?

Believe it or not, though thinking rich helps in making one feel rich, it is in what one does that ensures affluence is reachable and do-able.

Being rich, more than just a state of mind, is actually a state of one’s pocket. Getting those greens in your wallet require a lot of luck, preparation and opportunity to come your way.

Alright, enough of my ramblings, have a great day ahead!

The following are helpful tips and advice to hopefully snag that richness and swim in it. Acquiring lots of wealth has never been this easy, or is it?

Look Out For Inheritance

Believe it or not, this is a very old yet a very effective tried and tested way that today’s families got rich in the first place.

During the early 1800s as well as 1900s, just right before there were laws put up on taxes, trusts, etc., the wealthy families of America built large empires and amassed for themselves lots and lots of money through various industries like banking, oil, newspapers, transportation, sugar, land, etc.

That wealth – like an heirloom – has been passed onto generations upon generations of family.

Therefore, inheritance is one of the surest and easiest way to get rich. Provided of course that the family before yours was rich enough to do so.

The down side of this method is that wealth inheritance only works if you are born to the appropriately rich family.

If not, then go and establish your own wealth and pass it on to your children and your children’s children. Oprah wasn’t born rich, but look at her now.

It is never too late or too early to start.

Marry Up, Marry Rich

If inheritance seems a long shot, try marrying someone rich. If you are extremely lucky, that person you just married could be kind, lovable and generous. If not, then divorce will make sure you get what is handsomely due you.

However, for this to work, you have to make sure that you get married in a state where property community laws favors you.

Work, Work, Work

If inheriting wealth and marrying rich does not work, there is always an alternative: work for the money.

It is very rare that people get rich just by holding a job, though it does pay the bills. What people do to get rich is building a company and owning a company. Eventually, the company goes public thereby bringing the owners millions upon millions of those green dollars.

Inventing something everyone would find useful is another way to get rich and at the same time help society benefit from it. Some examples includes Microsoft, Google, eBay or Post-it, etc.

Win, Win, Win

If inheriting wealth is not your cup of tea, if you cannot marry rich and if working and working still won’t bring you wealth, try winning it.

After all, that is what lotteries are for. Eventually, someone wins at the lottery, and hope that it could be you. Though the chances of winning the lottery is a lot less, compared to perhaps being struck by lightning, it is only worth a buck so why not try it out?

Gamble For Money

If marrying does not work, if inheriting does not work, if winning does not work, try gambling. Believe it or not, a total of fifty million Americans play poker. There are even those that win millions out of it.

Watching these poker players battle and win it out on tv seems easy, however the fact of the matter is, it is not.

Steal Money?

This is a loser’s attempt to get rich, but it could work. That is if you are willing to risk life, limb and one hundred years of your life in federal prison if caught.

Being a CEO is one good way to steal money. Cook those accounting books, purchase a thirty million dollar home, lie and hope that no one notices. But this is really not advisable.

Another un-recommended way to get rich is to deal, either drugs, meth, heroine or crack as well as other non-approved meds by the FDA.

Invest Your Money

This is a sure way to get rich and a very clean one too. Real estate is a good investment with its rate going up by ten percent every year.

Though this process takes time, and also needs a humongous down payment to get started, you will get rich still, just right now.

All in all, getting rich is easy as long as you put your mind and heart to what it is you want to do. But the best way to get money is actually to give it. See how it works. That is of course, it should be given willingly and with a happy – not a heavy – heart.

It doesn’t matter who they are – businessmen, artists, sportsmen, inventors – successful people have more things in common than you think.

These common attitudes and qualities have been very effective in helping them see things that other people don’t see, rise above their personal troubles and outperform their competitors. In other words, they have a successful mindset.

You too, can develop this mindset and harness its power to change your life. You just have to realize that half of what earns you success is being prepared for it. Here are some ways to change your current mindset into a mindset of success:

Have Vision & Focus

Successful people are conditioned to look forward, to always ask what if and why not. It is this innate curiosity and openness for new things that help them develop a creative mind.

A creative mind can see beyond the present; it can see possibilities and combinations that are otherwise unavailable to closeminded people.

It is this sense of vision and tenacity of focus that keeps them crying out, “Eureka!” while everyone else are scratching their heads.

Case in point: a trucker named Malcolm Mclean, who, as he watched the contents of his truck being loaded onto a ship in 1937, thought that it would be much faster and more convenient if the trailer itself were lifted instead.

He turned that idea into a vision and that vision was containerized shipping, revolutionizing the shipping industry.

Take Calculated Risks

You know stories of people who made blind leaps of faith and landed on a ton of money but they are more the exception than the rule.

Successful people are not afraid of risk but rather view it not as a danger, but more of a probability that could result to a lot of possible outcomes, some of which can be very profitable.

Don’t Blame Your Parents

Or anybody else, for that matter. Successful people know better than to waste time pointing fingers when things go wrong. They don’t bother complaining, instead, they roll up their sleeves and do something. They take responsibility for their action.

Learn To Give Credit

Successful people know to whom they owe their achievements. They recognize other people’s contributions and do not pretend to be who they are not.

Successful people are smart enough to recognize a higher power, regardless of their faith. It is this recognition that makes them retain a humility and a sense of integrity and charity to share their wealth and knowledge.

Never Stop Learning

Success is built upon failure and failure truly is not learning from mistakes. Successful people know that mistakes are inevitable in any areas in life but they do not take their failure for granted.

For them, failing at one thing is a surefire guarantee that they will succeed at it the next time around.

Oprah Winfrey was once fired from her job in television. If she just gave up right there, she wouldn’t have known the kind of blessings that she enjoys today.

Don’t Believe In Luck

Make it. People with the success mindset are unusually “lucky”. Or so you think. They don’t really have magic formula; they just know how to create and take advantage of opportunities.

They prefer to focus on positive expectations rather than focusing on drawbacks. And they are not easily cowed. They are tenaciously resilient.

Always on the lookout, successful people see problems as opportunities for change. While other people see a barren land, they see a city of casinos and hotels.

Keeping a mindset that’s open to possibilities, successful people almost always find themselves in the right place at the right time.

Learn To Network

Success-oriented people recognize the value of social capital. They know that success is not a one-man operation. They surround themselves with the kind of people whose talents, skills and knowledge can complement their own.

It doesn’t matter whether they themselves are misfits or nonconformists, they know better to choose the right kind of people to work with.

Successful people align themselves with other people who think like winners and stay away from naysayers, while keeping an ear out nonetheless.

Marcian Hoff was assigned by his employer, Intel, to work with a group to design silicon chips for a hand-held calculator. They instead managed to create the microprocessor.

Have Persistence To Rise Above Your Condition

Successful people didn’t always start out on the right foot. Some, like designer Tommy Hilfiger and environment champion Erin Brockovich, suffered from learning disorders but they never let their condition or family life hinder them from making their way.

They didn’t entirely ignore their problems, but chose to focus instead on what they could do and went after it.

Case in point: Denyce Graves grew up in the ’70s in a single-parent household that could barely make ends meet. Denyce wanted to be an opera singer but there were some obstacles to her path.

She didn’t have a lot of years in training, she had to learn the foreign languages used in the operas and she was black. At the time, people didn’t think blacks could excel in opera.

Denyce instead worked harder than anyone else, even cleaned dormitories and washed pots just to pay for school. She went on to sing with Placido Domingo and won standing ovation for her debut in Bizet’s ‘Carmen’.

Power is a relative concept.

There are quite a lot of people in the world that can be termed “powerful”, but if you ask ten different people on the street who are the personalities that they consider powerful, you’ll get ten different sets of answers.

Quite frankly, power exists in many forms, and all are valid. Most people immediately equate money with power, but while seemingly similar, the two are actually quite different. Wealth just buys things. Power makes things happen.

Power, in and of itself, is not evil. Despite the many misconceptions of the general public and the hype of mass media, there’s nothing corrupting or dark about wanting to become powerful. Power, in any and all of it’s various forms, is simply a tool, and it’s how you use that power that determines whether it’s beneficient or malevolent.

If you want to become a powerful person, first you have to ask yourself a simple question. What form do you want the power to take? Unless you have a focused vision of what you want, you’ll never be able to make it happen.

Look at the people in the world that you consider “powerful” and ask youself what factors they have in common. Does their power come from having vast resources and people at their beck and call?

Or perhaps they’re the charismatic types, who are able to make people do what they want on a consistent basis. Or perhaps you’re after a more personal form of power, like possessing superb skills in a chosen field, craft, or art.

Whatever the case, you have to choose what kind of power you’re after first. Wanting to have it all is a natural reaction. Everyone wants to be rich, smart, stong, fast, tough, good looking, and have a lot of social influence. Okay, reality check here. Focus on one thing at a time or you’ll never get any of the above at all.

A good way to determine what kind of power will suit you is to know yourself. Study yourself with brutal honesty, and know your personal strengths, weaknessess, your likes and dislikes. Try to find a path that will capitalize on your strengths.

If you’re born with the gift of gab but have lousy business sense, for example, you don’t aspire to swinging big business deals.

You may be more suited for politics, or as a community leader whose main role is to inspire the people around him to achieve their best. Don’t dabble in things where you stink, just stick to what you’re good at.

Once you know what kind of power you want to achieve, the next step is to plan on how to get it. The planning and implementation stages are entirely up to you.

However, no amount of advice will ever help you come up with a plan that’s right for you. You have to work out the details for yourself, and make them happen.

There are, however, a few common traits to all powerful individuals that you should keep in mind during both planning and implementation:

Information

Knowledge is the key to power. Whatever your chosen path to power, you need information on it. Zeal and passion are NEVER enough. If wanting and wishes were sufficient to make things happen, the world would be full of “perfect” people. Do your research.

Find out how other powerful people made their way, and either emulate their methods or modify them to suit your situation. Before jumping into any action, know the environment, know the variables involved, the possible scenarios and outcomes. Make contingency plans for each. Research and study up on everything related to what you want to achieve.

Discipline & Patience

These two go hand in hand. Hard work requires discipline, and becoming powerful IS hard work, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. While there are a few lucky people out there born with natural gifts and inheritors of vast wealth, the majority of us have to earn our way up. Patience is also a prerequisite to power.

Overnight successes are prone to becoming overnight flash in the pans, too. If you want power that will last, be prepared to wait for it. Snipers and hunters are an excellent analogy for patience: they will wait literally motionless for hours on end for their targets, and they know that an impatient rifleman will miss his shots, every single time.

Drive & Effort

While it was stated earlier that wanting something is not enough to achieve it, it nonetheless helps. Passion does not convey skill, but what it does do is fuel the will and spirit to keep moving forward and striving no matter what is in your way. Setbacks and disappointments are inevitable; passion allows you to overcome them and ultimately achieve your goals.

There is a singular rule and metaphysical precept concerning the relationship between money and spiritual counsel. The rule is clear, and repeated in every holy work of very religion.

Money must not change hands between esoteric teacher and student. This is why all churches, Catholic, Protestant, or Synagogue, do not permit their priests, ministers, or rabbis to accept money from the parishioners. These “teachers” are supported, their needs supplied by the church, which is, itself, supported by voluntary and anonymous donations from the general public.

The money rule is not the only road map you will need on your journey down the Yellow Brick Road of metaphysics to the enchanting Oz of enlightenment. You need to also be forewarned against the loss of your own individuality by trusting those who seek to control your mind and personal intuition through a form of mass hypnosis.

Often, the initial manifestation of your quest is a series of a strange coincidences which as not coincidental at all, thus, leading you to certain books written about a variety of metaphysical subjects .

You can be led to such esoteric works in several ways. Sometimes through a chance of remark from friends and often through your own seemingly aimless but subconsciously purposeful browsing.

You will soon learn to judge yourself whether a book’s contents are misleading or wise by listening to the voice of your own Higher Self, whispering into your inner ear. You will learn to feel the messages in a short while.

Some books you may reject, and others you will inwardly know are teaching a facet of universal truth you can accept.

This is not always but usually the first step you must take alone before the manifestations of your own personal Guru, who will then impart ancient wisdom on a warm and precious one-to-one basis.

To aid you with this initial step, you must learn how to incorporate into your life the Law of Manifestations and learn the simple steps in achieving success.

In essence, Law of Manifestation exist to describe or give details on how people produce those things that their hearts desire, regardless of the means on how they will recognize them.

The very point here is that people tend to make anything that they want and not essentially the things that they need.

Hence, people do things based on the manifestations that they have, which are congruently based on the thought or suggestion of the Inner Self. This means that most of the times, people create such thoughts without consciously realizing them.

However, the Law of Manifestation contend that even if the Inner Self, which is subconscious in nature, do not necessarily know what is being desired, the created thought must still be absorbed by the subconscious mind for it to be processed and generated in real.

To claim that you are powerless to create manifestation is like owning a radio, possessing AM and FM, an ON switch, and numerous frequencies or stations and saying that there is no way you can tune in to a particular station or whatever spot on the dial you choose.

Hence, the question is: “How will you learn to apply the Law of Manifestation and gain the success that you deserve?” One of the oldest metaphysical adages is, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” This means that if your body is ready to succumb to the universal Law of Manifestation, nothing is impossible.

Here are some easy steps to prepare you in achieving success through understanding of Law of Manifestation.

1. Know what you want

2. Manifest things that are universally good

3. Personification of purity, honesty, and selflessness

4. Learn success not by seeking them, but simply by desiring their manifestations, by preparing, and being willing to wait until they appeared, wholly without you calling them.

5. Incorporate the perfect mind set.

Given these facts, you will eventually discover more fathoms of peace, wisdom, and contentment by taking the necessary steps toward manifesting an avatar who will be considering nothing but your own personal illumination.

There is no more effective resolve to follow, and in all other matters, than the affirmation of what great minds suggest, “Follow the path to enlightenment by learning the Laws of
Manifestation.”

Would you like to acquire the mindset and attitude of your role model or idol? Here’s an effective technique:

Choose the person you would like to model. Research everything about the person. Know what traits, styles, or abilities you would like to acquire from him.

Let’s say you want to have the mindset of Michael Jordan. Go to a quiet place, close your eyes, relax, and visualize Michael Jordan smiling and coming to you. Now visualize Michael Jordan merging with your own body.

Now feel his presence and his aura being absorbed by your whole body. The secret here is: You don’t want to become like him, feel that you’re already him.

Feel his abilities engulfing your body. Visualize you’re Michael Jordan and you’re playing his game at its best. See what he sees, feel what he feels, think what he thinks. When the Michael Jordan aura is being experienced by your body at its peak, open your eyes. Feel refreshed and invigorated.

When you get the chance to play basketball, feel that you’re Michael Jordan and play it just as Michael Jordan would. By feeling that you’re him, you’ve already affirmed to yourself that you already possess his traits and his emotions. If you just want to be like him, you’re telling your subconscious that you do not yet possess his characteristics.

The same goes if you want to become a wealthy person. Dress, act, think, and feel the way a wealthy person does, even if you’re not yet one. Don’t wait to become a wealthy person in the future; be one now, and you will attract wealth and abundance.

There’s a very powerful technique called mirroring. You copy the other person. If he scratches his nose, you do the same. If he fixes his hair, do the same. If you couple this act with visualizations of you doing what he’s doing and thinking what he’s thinking, not only will you acquire the traits and personality of the person you’re modeling, but he will also feel comfortable with you, and will get to like you because he can see himself in you. You will build rapport.

But be warned! Don’t be obvious when you’re mirroring others because they might think you’re mocking them.

The power of inner dialogue. Are you aware of your inner dialogue? If not, you can be aware of it at this moment. Just get quiet and listen, there is a voice inside you that is constantly talking to you all the time. If you have ignored the power of this little voice, you have been missing a great tool for developing your personal power.

Your inner dialogue can be good or bad. If you have a positive thinking habit, your inner dialogue most likely is positive, and you will be very fortunate to enjoy the joy of positive living.

Unfortunately, most people don’t have a positive thinking habit; their inner dialogues are negative. Although they are working hard to improve their situations, they are literally pulling themselves back all the time, and wondering why there seems to be no progress.

How much success and how much fulfillment you get in your life is directly promotional to the quality of your inner dialogue. Since the inner dialogues are so important to your personal development, we really need to have a better understanding of the roles it plays.

Our inner dialogue is doing constant judgment and evaluation. Whatever we see, hear or sense, our inner dialogue will give us a judgment of good or bad, right or wrong, based on our past experiences. This is very important for our survival.

If you see a snake, your inner dialogue will tell you it is dangerous, if you see a flower, your inner dialogue will tell you it is beautiful. Your inner dialogue plays a role of guardian, protecting you from dangers. However this inner dialogue is not always helpful when it comes to developing your personal power. Do you have a habit of saying the word “can’t”.

If you do, I suggest you eliminate this word from your language. This may be the most valuable suggestion I can give you. BE CAREFUL when your inner dialogue is telling you that you can’t do something. To protect you from danger, your inner dialogue has the tendency to avoid doing new things. Its intention is good, it is trying to protect you, but at the same time, it gives you too much limitation.

In order to grow, you must take new challenges, learn to do new things. Suppose you want to make a million dollars but you never did this before, you search the entire database of your past experiences stored in your mind, and could not succeed to find a way.

Your inner dialogue will conclude “You Can’t”. It will try hard to convince you that what it says is true, because it does not want you to be in danger. However, in reality you must learn new skills and new mindset of a millionaire in order to have the new experience of making a million dollars.

You will never find the solution in your old database. Replace negative inner dialogue with positive ones. Don’t take it for granted for whatever your inner dialogue tells you. Think it one step further.

Is that what it says really true? Be aware of your negative inner dialogue, and replace it with positive ones. That is all you have to do to achieve a successful and more fulfilled life. Since it is so simple, why isn’t everybody doing it? There is only one reason and that is not everyone knows what is good and what is not good. This may sound like non-sense, but it is true.

The majority of people don’t know what is good for them and what is not. When people have a problem, they go out to seek for solutions. They buy books, go to seminars, seek for mentor ships, and hopefully these will solve their problems.

Unfortunately, these things will never solve all their problems, unless they…Change the approach. Only when they realize that the solution is not outside of them, but inside of them, they will start to solve their problems. If you forget everything I talked to you so far, remember this “There is a solution inside you to every one of your problems”. You don’t have to go outside to seek for solutions; the solution is already inside you. There is a part of you that is eternal, which knows answers to all your problems.

You only need to get connected to it. Listen to this eternal part of you and you will never have any problems. This part of you knows what is good for you and what is not, because it knows how the entire universe works, indeed it is the universe itself.

I don’t want to confuse you by talking too much about your eternal self, or true self, I only want you to know you can have access to this huge power of the universe. When you have it, nothing is beyond your reach. Listen to your true self more and more, you will know the right answers more and more.

Eventually, you will replace your negative inner dialogue with positive ones. You don’t have to work hard on this, it happens automatically once you get into the habit of listening to your true self. To help you speed up this process, I would like to share with you a technique I learned from Dr Deepak Chopra’s positive inner dialogue exercise. Every time you look into a mirror, make eye contact with your image, and repeat silently the following sentences.

I am totally independent of the good or bad opinions of others.
I am beneath no one.
I am fearless in the face of any and all challenges.

These are some of the best inner dialogue you can have. Repeat them often; make them deeply embedded in your subconscious mind. You will see your life change automatically.

Editor’s Comments:
Now you know that talking to yourself does not mean that you’ve lost your mind! Here’s a great resource to help you attain personal power: http://www.kezooki.com/spp
